Alt for Damerne deals with a young woman who writes anonymously to an advice column. She begins by describing her boy-friends problems, however the story gradually takes on a more tragic character. The young woman is a victim of incest and has lived with her mother, who was a nervous wreck and badly needed help. The text is taken from the ladies magazine Alt for Damerne.

I play the anonymous woman, giving her letters a face and a body. It's an attempt to turn the advice column genre on its head. The anonymity disappears, and personal space of the woman is emphasised. Perhaps this makes the story more urgent, teetering between being deeply personal and impersonal.
